Ingredients
1 orange
1 summer squash, cut into pieces
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar (or 500 g Dansukker Jam Sugar “1+3”, or 2 kg Granulated Sugar)
500 g cherry-plums
Instructions
Pit cherry-plums, put in a saucepan. Add orange zest and summer squash. Boil for 10 minutes, then add Jam sugar and boil for further 2-10 minutes.*
If you wish, you can add orange flesh too: free orange wedges from white parts and sheaths and cut into small pieces before adding to jam.
* With jam sugar “1+3” boil for approx. 2 – 3 minutes. With jam sugar – for approx. 5 minutes. With Granulated sugar – for approx. 10 minutes.
