2 kg apples
1 litre water
540 g Dansukker Cane Sugar or Granulated sugar per litre of finished juice
½ tsp liquid atamon (preservative) per litre of finished juice

Instructions

Wash and cut the apples into wedges with the core and peel. Place the apple wedges in a saucepan and pour over the water. Boil under a lid on a low heat for 15 minutes. Allow the juice to drip through a juice cloth for 30 minutes. Measure the juice and pour back into the saucepan. Add the sugar. Boil on a low heat for 10 minutes. Add the atamon. If the juice is to be frozen, it is not necessary to use the preservative. Pour the juice into scalded bottles and seal them tightly. Refrigerate.
