Ingredients
200 ml wine
100 ml balsamic vinegar
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar
Instructions
Rinse and pick over the strawberries. Chop them into pieces. Combine the strawberries, wine and vinegar in a saucepan, cover and boil for 5 minutes. Add the sugar and boil for a further 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and carefully skim off any scum. Pour into warm, sterilised jars. Seal tightly. Store in a cool place.
Red wine and dark balsamic vinegar make a dark jam, while white wine and white balsamic vinegar make a lighter jam.
