To decorate
250 g almond paste
Confectionery eggs
Brown and yellow icing, icing recipe
Instructions
Start by decorating the eggs. On each egg, pipe small brown dots to make eyes and two small yellow strips to make a beak.
Bake the muffins for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with grated almond paste. Bake for about 6 more minutes. Decorate with confectionery eggs so the muffins look like baby birds in a nest.
