Ingredients
1 kg Dansukker Granulated Sugar
2 l water
3 lemons, preferably organic
3 l blackcurrant leaves
Instructions
Mix the sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and stir until the sugar dissolves. Wash the lemons and blackcurrant leaves thoroughly. Slice the lemons and put alternate layers of lemons and leaves in a large bowl.
Pour the hot syrup over the layers and leave the mixture covered for at least 3 days. Strain and pour into warm, sterilised glass bottles. Put the lids on firmly.
Hygiene is important when you are making the juice.
