Chilli syrup

Do you like more heat in your desserts? Chilli syrup is particularly good sprinkled over fresh berries or ice-cream or added to apple pie.

1 small glass bottle

Ingredients

2 chillies
280 g Dansukker White Syrup
200 ml water

Instructions

Rinse and finely chop the chilli. Combine all the ingredients in a heavy-based saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour the syrup into a thoroughly-cleaned bottle with a cap. Leave to cool uncapped. Store in the refrigerator.
