Ingredients
4 dl plain flour
1 dl potato starch
1 dl Dansukker Icing Sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
200 g butter or margarine
1 egg
Glaze
Egg white
Decoration
Dansukker Nib Sugar
Chopped almonds
Instructions
Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Cut the butter/margarine into small pieces and rub it into the flour mixture, using your fingers or a fork. Lightly whisk the egg, add it to the bowl and work the mixture into a dough. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out shapes with cookie cutters. Place the biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with nib sugar and chopped almonds. Bake at the centre of the oven at 175 °C for approx. 10 minutes.
