Ingredients
150 g butter
150 ml Dansukker Granulated Sugar
2 eggs
Grated rind of 1 untreated lemon
250 ml plain flour
2 tbsp pickled ginger, chopped
1 tsp baking powder
Filling
4 cooking apples
Crumble
2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts
2 tbsp Dansukker Nib Sugar
1 tbsp coconut
Instructions
Set the oven temperature to 175 °C.
Combine the butter and sugar.
Add the eggs one at a time and beat until white and fluffy.
Combine the flour, baking powder and ginger and stir into the mixture.
Peel and slice the apples into dice-sized pieces. Spread about half the applies into the mixture in a greased, floured tin approx. Place the rest on top, scatter hazelnuts, sugar and grated coconut over the top. Bake for about 40 minutes.
