Iced vanilla cookies

Iced vanilla cookies are the perfect accompaniment to your Halloween party. Shape the iced vanilla cookies as you wish and colour the icing for an even more festive appearance. Have fun baking for all the family!

Ingredients

4 dl plain flour
200 g butter or margarine
1/2 dl Dansukker Granulated Sugar
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar
1 egg yolk

Icing
5 dl Dansukker Icing Sugar
1 tbsp liquid margarine
1-2 tbsp water
Food colouring

Instructions

Put all the ingredients on a work surface and quickly knead together to make a dough. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Roll out the dough to a thickness of roughly 3 mm. Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter or template. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at the centre of the oven at 225°C for approx. 8 minutes.

Mix together the icing sugar, water and margarine into a smooth icing. Divide the icing into portions and colour as desired. Decorate the cookies with the icing. Leave to set on a wire rack.
