Pomelo and orange marmalade

The bitter pomelo gives this orange marmalade a “grown-up” taste.

Ingredients

1 pomelo (about 600 g)
2-3 oranges (about 400 g)
500 ml cold water
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar

Instructions

Wash the oranges thoroughly. Cut them into segments, then into thin slices. Cut the peel from the pomelo. Cut it into segments, then into thin slices. Combine the fruit pieces and water in a saucepan. Cover with a lid and simmer gently for 45 minutes. Stir in the jam sugar and boil over a high heat for 5 minutes. Skim off any scum. Pour into warm, sterilised jars. Store in a cool place.
