Ingredients
100 g butter or margarine
1 dl Dansukker Organic Cane Sugar Fairtrade
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar
2 1/2 dl plain flour
Filling
750 g apples
1 dl flaked almonds
3/4 dl Dansukker Organic Cane Sugar Fairtrade
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp potato starch
Instructions
Melt the fat in a saucepan on the stove. Add the cane sugar and stir to make a smooth paste. Add the vanilla sugar and flour and mix into a smooth dough. Spread out the dough in a tin. Peel, halve and core the apples. Cut the apples into wedges and arrange them on top of the dough. Sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Mix together the cane sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and potato starch and sprinkle the mixture over the apples. Bake in the centre of the oven at 200 °C for approx. 30 minutes. Serve with lightly whipped cream or crème fraîche.
